* I was completely out of touch with Louis Laszlo Schwartz our former dentist, I thought since David was so frequently in N.Y., he could make his own arrangements about buying back the piece which was one of the two marbles that he carved, called "Sewing Machine". It depicted me at that instrument. That was one of the two pieces he worked on at Freeman Le Brakes monument works in Saratoga Springs. David mentioned working on these pieces frequently in his letters to me of 1944. A great deal of the work was done with air hammers,....only to be found at Freeman's place.
