you see we are arriving here in sections.

Slidell is going on a fishing trip with me latter on.

Remember the family Glackens to the Blows when you see them in Florence. I heard they had a son and are supremely happy.

The winter in New York has passed off without a ripple. We had wonderful weather. My studio so far as light is concerned is completely ruined. When the sun shines. It has beautiful golden glow with splashes of dried sunlight reflected from a myriad of windows [[strikethrough]] from [[\strikethrough]] in the hotel across the street. I have put in some artificial lights, a new lamp that shows the colors in their proper relations but I have not gotten them arranged just right. It will take some experimenting. I think the time will very soon arrive in New York when most of the Studios will have to use artificial lighting.

I hope you will have a pleasant trip to Florence.

I havent made any plans for the summer yet and I cant until I see Dr. Cohanvet It may be we will have to stay near Paris. I suppose you will be coming up this way during this spring

Yours Glack.
