We are already considering a way to keep the paintings together and if I get the money within a few years we shall do it. I hope people will not want to buy the pictures. We shall not refuse museums, except I hope the Phila ones won't get any. That is, I shall consider them as strangers. When we meet we must speak of the future as we should not be able to talk of the past few days as yet. He is not far from any of our thoughts but I want to shed my tears when I am alone. I am glad Willie was able to see Leon’s last beautiful canvas.

Affectionately yours,
Edith.
