Dear Leon and Viette, 
An apology must go to the former for my delay in thanking him for the leaflet of Dr Lemperts. A friend called upon the doctor recently and was charged $15 instead of the usual $25 because he was sent through yo Leon. Unfortunately there was nothing to be done for this young man. Thank you for the reduced price.

Are you not coming to town any time soon? Next Sunday some people are coming to buffet supper so should you her here do drop in. 

No doubt it is lovely in the country now and Marie Claude will be enjoying every minute. 

The winter has been an eternity to  me, needless to say. I am more than ever a believer in the suttee. Ira and Lenna are driving to Conway as soon as the roads open_ perhaps May 25th. Ira is advertision his house to let for the summer and must get his furniture in and all in readiness by June 15th. I shall try to park Peppy in the country and drop down and pant here. A blessing to be al one.
The 22nd will be the year since out loss. It seems ten at least. "Time the great healer" that people gas about has not touched me, instead it becomes harder all the time.
