able cause. In the event of termination by the Government you will be allowed lawful travel expenses as provided in Paragraph 1 above. 

Under authority granted by the Secretary of War you will be allowed travel expenses from place of engagement to your designated station outside the United States, and return to point of engagement upon completion of assignment. You will be allowed a per diem of $6.00 during travel inside the United States, and $7.00 during travel outside the United States. Payment of a per diem when in travel status in the Theatre of Operations will be as stipulated by the Commanding General of the Theatre of Operations. 

You will be required to purchase such uniform as may be prescribed by Army Regulations. 

Arrangements will be made for the purchase of such artists' materials as may be required in the rendition of the service prescribed under this agreement, at not to exceed $300 per artist. 

All notes, drafts, sketches, drawings, paintings, and all other artistic creations conceived and produced by you during the life of this agreement shall be the property of the Government, except such notes, drafts, sketches, etc., which the Government as represented by the Committee above named elects not to have delivered to the Government provided, however, that the Government, during the War and one year thereafter, shall have the right to exercise complete censorship and control of reproduction rights on all such notes, sketches and other productions and creations produced or created under the agreement. Within the period heroin referred to, the Government, through the Committee above named, shall select such of your productions and creations which are not selected for delivery to the Government shall remain in your possession and automatically become your property. All such productions and creations will be left in your custody and possession until fully completed. 

The Government will furnish you such free hospitalization and medical care as, or, in the opinion of the medical officer in charge, may be considered necessary or desirable. The Government will also bear the expense of such medical examinations, immunizations, identification papers and costs of meeting other requirements prior to embarkation from the continental United States, and from other places upon return to the United States. 

You will be entitled to compensation in case of injury, and your estate or other beneficiary in case of death, during the period of employment under this agreement, in amounts allowed under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act.
