PUBLIC BUILDINGS BRANCH
IN REPLYING, QUOTE THE ABOVE SUBJECT, BUILDING, AND THESE LETTERS PB-
TREASURY DEPARTMENT
PROCUREMENT DIVISION
WASHINGTON
October 10, 1938
Mr. Reginald Marsh
4 East 12th Street
New York City
Dear Reg:
I have your two additional letters. I don't think anything is ever gained by keeping alive and acrimonious correspondence and I have no wish to be acrimonious with you.
I think the main trouble with your point of view is that you have no idea of the magnitude and scope of the work which the Section has done and I do think if you want to set yourself up as a critic of the Section you owe it to the Section to gain a much more comprehensive idea of the work we have done. As I wrote to you in my first letter, we have in the office a complete set of photographs of all the work we have done and I feel quite certain that if you take the trouble to look them over you will gain a very different conception of the scope of the work of the Section.
Sincerely yours,
Edward Bruce
