Etaker, Alfred, (Colored.) and 6 others.

Represent that they have heard of an order removing Lt. J.F. Allison, A.S.A. Comr from the post, & they earnestly beg that Lt. Allison be reinstated, or be continued in some capacity as an Agent of the Bureau, because of the ready & efficient method of adjusting differences, & for the sake of schools, with which they are not supplied, & because Lt. A. by his patient hearing & wise & just decisions has endeared himself to their race, & gained the confidence & esteem of their white neighbors.
