Complaint Division
Most of the complaints received and investigated have been against persons accused of defrauding claimants of their bounties &c. In several instances the guilty parties has left the District, thereby rendering it impossible to prosecute them.  Nevertheless a considerable amount of money has been collected, and paid over to complainants.  Below I give a schedule of operations
