was so certified by Maj Mayer upon the face of the man's Discharge, all of which I called to the attention of Maj Bolenius, and stated to him that a reference to Maj Mayer's Rolls would so prove, but he persisted in doing what was manifestly wrong, and put the claimants to unnecessary expense for no purpose.

The charges which are not [[crossed out]] met [[/crossed out]] covered by the papers submitted, are of such a nature that I cannot now ascertain the names of the parties but I can, if necessary  present my own affidavit in proof thereof if required.
