I have the honor to enclose herewith resignations (duplicat) of Mr Theodore Wiseman as Agent Bureau R.F. and A.L. Miss, dated respectively January 16th and January 31st 1868.

At the time the resignation of the latter date was filed, Mr Wiseman was under trial before a Military Commission for malfeasance in office. I respectfully request that his appointment as Agent be revoked to date Jany 16, 1868, the date of his first resignation.

The finding of the Military Commission has not yet been promulgated.
