Vicksburg, Miss February 9, 1868.

I. Before a Military Commission which convened at Washington, Arkansas, January 10th, 1868, pursuant to Special Orders No. 199, dated Headquarters 4th Military District, Holly Springs, Mississippi, December 6, 1867, and of which Brevet Colonel J.E. TOURTELLOTTE, Captain 28th U.S. infantry, is President, were arraigned and tried. 

1. William L. Killgore, citizen.
CHARGE.——Murder.
Specification.——In this that William L. Killgore, citizen of Hempstead county, State of Arkansas, did on or about the 3d day of July, 1867, in the county of Hempstead, State of Arkansas, with deadly weapon, to wit : a loaded double barrelled shot-gun, make an assault upon Jonathan Rawlings, citizen of Hempstead county, State of Arkansas, with intent, him the said Jonathan Rawlings to kill and murder, and did then and there with weapon aforesaid unlawfully and maliciously shoot and murder him the said Jonathan Rawlings. All this in the county of Hempstead, State of Arkansas, on or about the date above specified. 

PLEA.
To the specification, "Not Guilty.'
To the charge, "Not Guilty."

FINDINGS.
On the specification, "Not Guilty."
Of the charge, "Not Guilty."
And the Commission does therefore acquit him, citizen William L. Killgore.

II. Before a Military Commission which convened at Vicksburg, Mississippi, January 23d, 1868, pursuant to Special Orders No. 11, dated Headquarters 4th Military District, Vicksburg, Mississippi, January 20, 1868, and of which Brevet Major General G. PENNYPACKER, Colonel 34th U.S. Infantry, is President, was arraigned and tried.
