Dear Dan,

I cant tell you how pleased I was to get your letter; how pleased I was that my take (founded in guilt and disgust at my bad editing) on your original letter was wrong (I didn't even [[underlined]]smile[[/underlined]]); how gracious you are in being absolutely right. I cant make openings; something happens inside my head, I get a little crazy when I hav to converse and glance at girls in go-go dresses and clink a drink around. So I usually see a show about a week after it opens. The green room is a kind of treat I'm withholding from myself [[strikethrough]] in [[/strikethrough]] until I can see it all alone.

Regards to Sonja; you both please me much.
