Dear Mr. Horowitz:

Thank you for your kind letter of March 8 concerning the safe delivery of the Charles White works. As I have not heard from anyone in New York, I assume that the works arrived there safely.

I suppose it is to be expected that there would be a lot of difficulties involving the proper working out of plans for an exhibition of the type that we got together. As I stated in previous letters, I am very certain that the exhibition was certainly worth all of the difficulties that we had to go through with in order to obtain it. The interest and enthusiasm shown here during the time that the exhibition was on view lead me to believe that all of this was a very worthwhile endeaver. I too am very grateful to Mr. White and to you for the fine cooperation that we got in making this show possible. I am anxiously hopeful that in the very near future we will be able to do something which will honor Mr. White in more ways than just through an exhibition of this sort. At any rate, I look forward to cooperating with you again in the future.

Thanking you for all of the kind services that you have performed, I remain,

Very sincerely yours,
David C. Driskell
