[[strikethrough]] in Buenos Aires, in Amsterdam, in London, and just have an "editor" for each one who does no selecting. He just [[/strikethrough]] There's no editorial work involved; someone in each center simply takes [[strikethrough]] them [[/strikethrough]] the cards to the printer and [[strikethrough]] gives somebody a mailing list, [[/strikethrough]] from the printer to the mailer and out they go.

UM: [[strikethrough]] I thnk this is really a tremendous idea, that you should really write a statement about the new journalism in in the art. That is very important because you did this u right now. Youtold me about your idea of [[/strikethrough]] This is a completely different concept of [[strikethrough]]...[[/strikethrough]] disseminating art, not just knowledge of art, [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] art itself. [[strikethrough]] That's the beauty of it, In a way in wb which it can be handled, it can be filed, and it can be understood [[/strikethrough]]

LL: Of course, the appalling thing is that there are so few people who are interested in art anyway. Most people would just say, aah, [[strikethrough]] there's [[/strikethough]] all those little cards; the people who read Newsweek or Art International or Artforum in general would be highly uninterested by these ideas, by the idea of receiving any information, because they would prefer to have it screened for them for somebody else, and this means thet they have to do a hell of a lot more work than they did before. Because they will actually have to look at and evaluate and think about things themselves...
They'd rather look at bad color plates and interpretive writing than receive any primary info & have to think fun or enjoy for themselves with no imposed criteria. A good critic is good because he's looked at a lot more art & thought about it more than most people. That's open to everyone

UM: That's why I think...... will be very helpful because what you want to do is to get a list of all the universities in the world and a flyer to each art department describing what this is about. And I think that you might find amonst the students....I don't know wheter it should be sent to the department or the students.

LL: It probably should be sent to the students.
