[1935-1936]

Berkeley, California
Friday

Dear Dad:

Well, here it is almost Father's day - I really have a present for you, but it wont be ready till next Friday, so you'll have to wait. When are you going to send my husband back?! Everybody needs him - the office and the home included. Willy will have forgotten him entirely. He's quite a grown up baby now. He wears shoes and stands up and has teeth.

I finish intersession next week - I've gotten all A's & B's so far. The weather is gorgeous - just the kind to go to Carmel in. Clara goes away every weekend, so I stay and take care of Willy!
