Geneva, N.Y. June 26, 1934.
Mr. Sherman H.Bowles,
General Manager of The Springfield Republican,
My Dear Mr.Bowles;
I am enclosing a copy of a letter I have written to the editor of The Springfield Republican.
I think you will understand my belief in what has been done by Miss McCausland. She is now conceded to be one one of the most important forces at work in the art world of to-day.
The fact that Alfred Stieglitz says what he does of her is enough to establish her ability anywhere in the world.
Please know that I am glad of the privilege of adding my enthusiasm over her articles appearing in your paper.
Sincerely yours,
Arthur S. Dove
R III Geneva N.Y.

P.S. Have heard of your many trails through F.M. Munroe of Huntington L. I so take the liberty of sending this.
