SAARINEN AND SWANSON ARCHITECTS

October 1, 1945

Miss Helen Hoke
Reynal & Hitchcock, Inc.
386 Fourth Avenue
New York, New York

Dear Miss Hoke:

Here is our contract, signed by me. You will remember over the telephone I said I could not promise to have the book completed by December 1, but that I would do everything possible to achieve this, and in any case to finish it soon after that - in plenty of time for a fall publication in 1946.

One thing which would help me greatly in completing all details by December 1 would be if you could take care of some of the color separation work. Could the black line and texture be made on one sheet with the color on a separate sheet?

Will you kindly let me know about this, as it is very important to me. Also kindly return my dummy and original drawings as soon as possible, as I need them to go by.

Thanking you.

Sincerely yours, Lily S. Saarinen

P.S. Is: "Who Am I" better than "Who Are We" or "Who Are You"?
