I have the honor to request a situation as Agent of the Freedmans Bureau. I have served in the Army since May 1862. I was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant 16th Infantry Corps d'Afrique Oct 24th 1863. I was mustered out of the U.S. service Dec. 28th 1864 as 2nd Lieut 125th U.S.C. Troops after nearly two years service in New Mexico.
