Dear Sir,

I have the pleasure to Enclose an application from Mr J. Henry Storey, who served during the war. His record in Washington in the War department is I believe without any blemish, and I can refer to it. He names the regiments in which he served - and is now 21 years of age. He was a boy in a Mission School of which I had charge - his family is respectable, and his own conduct has been correct I believe, as I know nothing to the contrary; as a boy in my Sunday School, it was correct.

Employment is a matter of importance to him; he cannot afford to be idle, and if you can promote his object, you will oblige, Dear Sir
Yours very respy & truly
Henry Fisher
