Capt. 13th U S Infty Requests that an investigation may be made in the case of Daniel Haveety conferred at Corpus Christi, Texas. Complains of his presentation by Inspr McClaim, Judge Dix & C; and states that Genl. Hancock intended to bring the whole of them to New Orleans for that and that they have violated his express order by putting manacles on said Havrety.
