I have the honor to state that in the case of Moses Gillmore, referred to me for investigation, after visiting Laurel Md and conversing with the ladies who saw the boy and his father, I was unable to ascertain the residence of the parties.

Efforts are being made to procure this information and to provide for the child the results of which will be communicated to you.
