was Dr Griffiths. He said he considered that no enemy of his had a right to visit the Hosp'l. Bruce then informed Dr. G. of said refusal. In the evening of the same [[note]] 5 [[/note]] day Dr. F.J. Griffith Capt E.D. Kennedy and three others, physicians came to my office. I expressed regret to them that Dr Bell had refused them admission  Dr Bell then called them into his office [[note]] 10 [[/note]] (just opposite) where ensued an animated debate, at which I was present. I again stated to him (Dr Bell) my desire to receive permission to visit the Hosp'l. He answered that he was unwilling to have the Hospital [[note]] 15 [[/note]] under his charge visited by his enemies. And they did not visit. They have visited it since, as orders were issued soon after establishing hours for that purpose. I called on Dr Bell again who furnished an [[note]] 20 [[/note]] acting Cadet to accompany the party. 
At the first interview above spoken of Dr [[note]] 25 [[/note]] Bell treated the party discourteously.
