Dear Charlie:

We have recently been given for sale by one of our clients a very fine early painting by George Bellows.

It is a picture which I think might possibly interest you very much as it represents a Baseball Game which is a subject usually dear to the hearts of all the students. In addition, the picture has a very interesting story connected with it as it was given to its present owner as a wedding present by Bellows himself.
Should you be coming to New York in the near future, I should like very much to have the opportunity of showing it to you.
Besides all this, I should love to see you again as we really haven't gotten together in some years now.
Will all good wishes and looking forward to hearing from you, I am
As always -
Sincerely,
(Robert M. Levy)
