Dear Mrs. Parker:

Thank you for your letter of December 10th concerning our forthcoming exhibition, "The World of Voltaire." I have received the photographs and information on the Deshays, "The Plague of Athens," and the two beautiful illustrations for the Fables de LaFontaine by Cochin. It goes without saying that we will be delighted to have them for the exhibition, which is taking shape very well indeed, although it is a serious attempt on our part to combine art and literature of the period and rather difficult, as you and Mr. Seligman realize.

Please tell Mr. Seligman to get well soon, and a Merry Christmas to both of you.

With cordial regards,
Paul L. Grigaut

P.S. - Enclosed are three loan forms. Please ask your secretary to complete these and return the white copy of each set to us, will you? I don't like to impose on you, but our catalogue will go to press in January.
