Dear Mrs. Parker:

I am back in Ann Arbor now, and I want to tell you how grateful I am for taking the trouble to come back to New York from Pennsylvania.

I mentioned to Mr. Sawyer that you still have the Dumont maquette. As you know, our forthcoming "For Consideration" exhibition is scheduled from October 4 through November 3, 1968, at which time we hope that our newly organized "Friends of the Museum of Art" will acquire some of the objects on exhibition for our permanent collection. Mr. Sawyer and I will be very grateful to you if you and Mr. Seligman would care to lend us the small maquette for this exhibition. Please let me know your wishes.

The Guérin sketch would be of less importance to us, and I do not feel that our prospective donors would appreciate it as much.

With cordial regards to both you and Mr. Seligman I am

Sincerely yours,
Paul L. Grigaut
