Dear Mr. Sawyer:
It was very thoughtful of you indeed, to have forwarded to me the catalogue with the expression of your appreciation towards the dealers who have assisted you in the formation of your Museum's collection.

This is a remarkable document, for it reveals the exceptional group of works of art which your acumen succeeded in bringing together in so short a time. Particular Striking, of course, are the diversified fields it covers.

Writing makes me realize that I have not had the pleasure of seeing you in quite a while and do hope that you will have an opportunity of dropping in on one of your next visits East.

With renewed appreciation and with best personal greetings,
sincerely yours,
Germain Seligman
