June 24th., 1948.

Dear Mr. Lasansky:

I have been looking forward to receiving your
reactions to my letter of the 1st., which may
in some ways have seemed disappointing. I trust
not.

Mr. Seligman and I sopke of you again this morning
and he pointed out something which I had over-
looked, namely that the very facts which make it
impossible for us to hold a one man show of your
work at present, are those which would contribute
to the success of our association. To be more
explicit, we already have established a name as
being the representatives of outstanding graphic
artists. As a result of that reputation we
received the inquiry in connection with which I
originally contacted you.

As I said above, we would like to have your own
views.

Yours very sincerely,

Mr. Mauricio Lasansky,
