Dear Mr. Dorra:

It was pleasant to receive your letter of September 30th, and to learn thus that you had succeeded in putting afoot the Exhibition you started organizing earlier this year.

Mrs. Seligman and I will be happy to cooperate, and I am returning herein the 2 Lender's Sheets, fully filled in, covering the:

Robert DELAUNAY
drawing
"EIFFEL TOWER"

and the

Roger de LA FRESNAYE
wood sculpture
"BOUQUET DE FLEURS" .

As you will notice from this document, the latter (wood sculpture) is very fragile indeed, and may I therefore count upon your keeping an eye on it and calling the attention of the other, following, Museum Officials to this special condition.

Should you not believe, in view of the amount of material you are gathering, that such attention could be given it, frankly speaking I would prefer not to lend it - as no money could replace this, almost unique, work of art (as you know, it was part of the decoration of the "Maison Cubiste" , salon d'Automne of 1912).

I care very much for it, not only because it is the work of an artist whose oeuvre I especially appreciate, but also because it was a present from Madame André MARE.
