Mr. Germain Seligman
Five East 57th Street
New York 22, New York

Dear Mr. Seligman:

Your very gracious letter of March 9 was received today, and I must take issue with your statement that you are a poor public speaker. On the contrary, one who writes as you do, with such style and charm, would be an excellent speaker.

In any event, I hope the Rembrandt Club may have the benefit of hearing you at some future date, and that I will have the pleasure of meeting you before too long.

Sincerely yours,

Thomas S. Buechner
