Dear Gordon:

You are evidently an optimist to think you will find the pamphlet of the "Prince and Two Ladies" Tapestry in your files! A few days ago, it suddenly appeared in my office, and I was at a loss to understand why, how, and wherefore, in view of my last letter to you. Evidently your secretary made some error.

Anyhow, be quickly reassured as I am sending you one today - the same one - so that you can see for yourself the notations which perlexed me so much. For some unaccountable reason, the whole thing had been cut across the top, but no matter.

Best wishes to you and hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
