. Gordon Washburn, Esq., May 10th, 1934. ........on a higher plane. I am at present trying to get together a list of all the important French 19th and 20th Century paintings, drawings, and water-colors to be found in the public institutions in the principal art centers outside of New York City. If it is not asking too much, I wonder whether your secretary could send me a list of the things you have in this field in Buffalo at the Museum. Please note that I am interested only in the French School and that I wish to include drawings and water-colors, as well as paintings. There is no hurry about this and I should be deeply grateful if this information could be forwarded to me in time. With my very best wishes, I am as ever Faithfully yours, (Robert M. Levy) Gordon Washburn, Esq., The Buffalo Fine Arts Academy, Albright Art Gallery, Buffalo, N.Y.
