Dear Bob:

You will be glad to know that I have decided to buy the altar. So if you will have a bill sent to me I shall O.K. it and the university will send you your ill gotten gains.

I'm sorry we won't get to see you before our departure on the big adventure. I shall be tied up here until it is time to go.

Hetty and I took a long week-end at Nantucket which is a beastly hole. There is something fundamentally wrong about American watering places. But all that will be changed after the revolution.

Soon we will be marching down Fifth Avenue singing the International. Until then -
