Dear John:

As I wired you last night, you are now the lucky owner of the beautiful Delacroix drawing from the Stonborough Sale yesterday. This I, fortunately, was able to purchase for you for $700., and I would appreciate your forwarding a check to us for this amount at our new address, as noted above.

At the same time, would you please let me know whether you want this drawing shipped to you in Cambridge, or whether you prefer picking it up here in New York. In this connection I would like to point out that should you prefer the latter, you would have to pay a 2% City Sales Tax, whereas, on the other hand, were it shipped to you -- although I cannot say exactly -- I believe that the packing and shipping charges would be less.

With best wishes, and give me a ring next week when you are in town.

As always -

Yours sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
