DELAUNAY, Robert (1885-1941) "THE EIFFEL TOWER" Oil on canvas: 16 x 13" Signed lower right: "r delaunay 1914" A large window with drapes drawn back on either side opens out on the Eiffel Tower. The picture is painted in cool greys, blue, and rust. Collection: M. Roché, Paris, to whom it had been given by Delaunay. (A drawing for this painting is in the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Germain Seligman.)
