THE LEHMAN COLLECTION
to be seen only at the Cincinnati Art Museum, is considered one of the foremost private collections in the world. A portion of it was exhibited at the Orangerie of the Louvre during the summer of 1957 where it received tremendous acclaim. The Cincinnati exhibition of the Lehman Collection includes all of the works shown in Paris, as well as fragile panel paintings which could not be entrusted to ocean travel and other magnificent works. Mr. Lehman is sending from his home for the first time. M. Serge Royaux who designed the Orangerie setting has transformed the galleries of the Cincinnati Art Museum by utilizing thousands of yards of fabrics woven in France to recreate elegant French drawing rooms.
