My dear Mr. Levy:

Thank you for your letter of September 30th. The exhibition we are planning is to be our opening exhibition of the season, from Novemver [[November]] 4th to December 5th. It will be an exhibit of contemporary sculpture. We are most desirous to have representative works of the leading sculptors both here and abroad and hope to include bronzes, stone, wood and terracotta by sculptors such as Brancusi, Despiau, Lachaise, Modigliani, etc. This, of course, is not a complete or final list but it will give you some idea of what we want.

Mr. Francis has suggested that perhaps you have photographs or measurements of sculptures which you could lend us. If you could send us these we could get some idea of what is available in your gallery. Our limited exhibition space precludes the possibility of installing monumental sculptures but we are trying to secure one larger and one smaller piece by each artist.

Hoping we may have the pleasure of including works from your gallery, I am,

Sincerely yours,

Silvia A. Wunderlich
