Dear Mr. Hollis:

     I wish to let you know how extremely appreciative I was of the kindness you showed me when I was in Cleveland, and I hope I did not impose upon you too much by asking so many questions. I enjoyed our conversation very much and I only hope that we may renew it when you are in New York. 

     I still haven't had an answer regarding my vase, but am hoping it will be a favorable one and am looking forward to being able to show it to you.
