Dear Henry:

Ethlyne and I returned from Europe a couple of days ago, but by next Wednesday we shall be off again - this time it will be for the Virgin Islands and for a rest - the trip to Europe was indeed hectic.

If I am sending you these lines at this present moment it is because I want to check up on a mental note I had made when I last saw you with Mr. Milliken in May, when you told me if I recall correctly that you would go to Maine during the month of August and stop in New York at the beginning of September on your way back to Cleveland.

You will understand the definite purpose of this question as returning myself on the 2nd or 3rd of September I do wanteto be sure not to miss you here at that time.

Thanks to your good assistance Miss Foote has been very kind indeed in sending me a most comprehensive report on the Wallace items, and I am taking advantage of these few days to write and thank her.

I do hope Frances and you are well and with kindest thoughts to you both,

Sincerely yours,

(Germain Seligman)

P.S I assume that Mr. Milliken is at present in Europe, but should he be in Cleveland please be so good as to remember me to him.
