Dear Germain:

The Redon got off by air this morning and I hope will arrive in Minneapolis safely and in good condition. I shall be anxious until I hear the news. The Exhibition was successful and very much appreciated here - unusually so. We are all grateful to you for having given us a chance to join with you in this opportunity.

I am enclosing a little sample of tape which we are using on all the glasses in the present shipment. It is called "Permacel Industrial Tape" and is sold by the National Paper and Twine Company. It is applied liberally so that there is an almost complete surface on each picture. Its adhesive quality seems to be quite as good as glued paper. One of the reasons we shifted is that in removing paper strips from the glass, water was necessary, and this would seem not only to save time, but to be safer. I hope you approve. If not, Dr. Arnason could see that the other is applied. This particular tape is better than cloth, since cloth stretches and when it dries it pulls away from the glass.

With best wishes as ever,

Very sincerely yours,
Henry
