Dear Henry,

Though it is always a great pleasure for ;me to hear from you, I realize however that it might be a strain for you at present to write.

Thus I am sending you these few lines just to cheer you up, and which need no answer.

Namely, Mr. Bernard Dorival, who seemed surprised not to have received my letter, which must have been delayed in the mail, wrote anew in connection with the exhibition, stating "Il (Rouault) consider de tableau (yours) come un de see chefs d'oeuvre et il voudrait beaucoup qu'il sout expose´". I thought it might please you to have such a confirmation of your own taste and feelings.

With kindest thoughts,
Sincerely,
Germain Seligman
