WILLIAM MATHEWSON MILLIKEN, DIRECTOR CABLE ADDRESS: MUSART CLEVELAND

February 5, 1951

Dear Germain:

It was a delight to have you and Ethlyne here. My only complaint is that is was all too short and it could not be arranged for you to come to Gates Mills; but there is always another time.

You left town at the psychological moment, however, because we are right in the grips of the coldest weather yet, and more snow which makes the going very difficult.

It looks as if we might really get away in March, and if so we will pass through New York and have a brief glimpse of you then--at least that is the momentary plan. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

With warm regards to you both.

Sincerely,
