Dear Germain:

Today as I was looking at new periodicals and books in the library, I came upon an article on Claude Vignon you may well know of but which in case you haven't found it, I send this following reference:

Claude Vignon (1593-1670)
Wolfgang Fischer pp. 105 ff.
(see Abb. 2, 3, 4 Die Heiligen Drei Könige (1619)
(p. 109, 110, 11)...in Nederlands - Kunsthistorisch
Jaarboek #13 (1962)

I haven't had a chance to read it--in German--but I shall, meanwhile thinking of you.

Since the most pleasant evening with you and Ethlyne, life has been hectic in the extreme, ending this weekend past with four guests, whom we took to Oberlin for a night to hear the lectures of the symposium honoring Wolfgang Stechow as retiring senior art historian, Charles Seymour, Seymour Slive, and Dr. Wittkonen gave lectures...there was an exhibition, a concert Sunday week, and a reception Friday...very delightful. It will be all recorded in the next allen Memorial Museum bulletin.

With greetings to you both,

Ever sincerely,

Henry KAO
