Dear Mr. Seligman:

This is to introduce Mrs. John B. Putnam, a friend and donor of the Museum. I hope that if she comes to New York within the next few weeks you can show her some of your treasures, especially any medieval and renaissance things. She may also ask to see some paintings. I am not sure if you have seen her collection here in Cleveland which includes paintings by Picasso, Bonnard, Soutine, and others, and also a Degas pastel of great beauty. I am sorry that I have not had an opportunity to see you myself for some time. In any case, I hope that you and Mrs. Seligman are well.

Very sincerely,
Bill
