Dear Mrs. Parker:

Many of the faculty of this school are considerably interested in a group exhibition of selected drawings, paintings, graphics, and sculpture. We feel that such an undertaking, if it were conceived and carried out in the best possible way, would bring considerable credit to all concerned with the project.

This letter, frankly, is exploring the general possibility of such an exhibition, with a view of developing a more active program of professional work by our staff of forty-five professors, some who have already achieved national recognition. If you believe that some plan can be developed for our mutual advantage, I shall be very happy to hear from you soon so that we may discuss some of the details which will necessarily require our attention.

Sincerely,
