Dear Friend.

Dennis Smith of Westfield, Chaut. Co N.Y., a man of means, has purchased 600 acres of land near Mt. Vernon on the Potomac.  He is going to settle there for the benefit of the health of his family.  The land cost him 20 dollars per acre, & it is said to be good.

He will sell 200 acres, probably on the most favorable terms for such a purpose a man wants it, but he will speak for
