Ther. THURS. DEC. 6, 1906 Wea.
Very dark. wrote all day. Lunch here. Nap and Victor. At four Rosalind came & lovely jolly talk. To B's to dine. Then Wendell lecture alone. H.C.G. after. Phil. Talk late.

Ther. FRIDAY 7 Wea.
Cambridge. Lunch here & nap. No one came. Victor. and at 7. to Cabots to dinner. with Ula to La Targe lecture. Terribly cold. To Touraine to see D. & Clara

Ther. SATURDAY 8 Wea.
Went out. Bright but terribly cold. Came in and painted. D. for a moment. Lunch here. and short nap. To Touraine. Tel from Cecil. He came at five. lovely time. Miss Adams and Geo. Dorr.  To lecture  Then blunders - blunders.  A.P.A.  council [[whines]] with  [[Egg?]]. Horrid drifting off. To disgusting party with Rosalind. Down. Foolish confidence.

Ther. SUN. DEC. 9, 1906 Wea.
Woke up low but decided at 11 to tel. asking for eve. [[gentle?]] - and would get Rosalind & Harry. Tel all AM.  Mrs B. asked to lunch but would'not on acc. [[account]] Dorothea. She could go at 2.  To D. Fitzgeralds with Mrs B. & [[De---d?]] saw D. Mr. Knights. Din here. all looking lovely. at 8.30. A.P.A. at nine H. & Rosalind. Jolly time. A.P.A. after - very [[gentle?]].

Ther. MONDAY 10 Wea.
[[strikethrough]] To Cambridge [[/strikethrough]] Very dark A.M. Went out for a while and then Knight lunch here  long nap and to Stenson Ted with Anne. Met Mrs W. Sargent. To B. Wendells to dinner en famille. and in carriage with Mrs W. to lecture. T. Coolidge & Mrs Tyson came over after by fire. Very nice.

Ther. TUESDAY 11 Wea.
To Cam. stopped and got white crysanthemums for S. Willdon. Nap and no one came. To the Ladds to dinner Rosalind there and nice time with enthusiastic young people.
