Yas gave me a lovely landscape. Saw Eustace Seligman at a dinner at the Greenbaums the other night and he asked eagerly after you. I told him what I could which wasn't so much. I want to do his portrait, his eyelids are like bay windows, and how he does suck his stomach in! Lloyd Goodrich posed for me the other day. (His eyes are like appleseeds.) 

Mary Badger is not going to Japan after all but thinks the turk will be back to marry her in February - Maybe she'll let you have the house or live in part of it. I've got too much
