idea is a good one. It is terribly hot here, and we nearly died working in the studio this morning. 

This afternoon we went to the beach for a criticism and I painted a thing and scraped it out and started another and scraped it out and came home disgruntled. 

Katherine Wiley and Julie got poor sketches (for them) too so we weren't very gay on our way home. I am very tired, so this will be just a scrap of a letter to my angel. Do not overwork my darling.
