Your sweet letter was such a pleasure to get. My trunk came yesterday when I was at my wits end for clean clothes. It arrived at almost supper-time, and I unpacked it that night. Yesterday morning I went to Mr. Webster's class. There was no one there save him, as the students only congregate on Saturday mornings. The rest of the time they are out working around the town and he goes about enticing them.
