Cross Examined.

It was a dark night & raining the night that she was up five times, she laid down at sun down, & rose ½ hour before day, dont recollect how long she was up each time her mother told her to come down here & behave herself, two strange men Bob & Tom called there & staid there that night, Mitchell was called out of his house, Mitchell said it was Major that called him out it was about bed time that Mitchell was called out, was not a witness in this case at any former trial.—

In Rebuttal.
Mitchell staid out but a very short time & came right back.— Harrison is a brother of Witness, she has been living with Mitchell ever since he has been the husband of her Mother & all belonged to Mr. Cliett.—

Witness saw Mitchell on one sunday night before Christmas. He was at home all night & a woman was in the house sick it was raining & some one was up once during the night. I never saw Mitchell before that night, a man came to Mitchell's house soon that night & hailed, he
